Dear current and potential new members of the Hamilton Danish Society,
Sharpen your knives and loosen your belts — our legendary Smørrebrødsfest is back on June 13th, and you’re all invited!
Join us for an evening of beautifully prepared smørrebrød by Danish Delicacy
Here’s what you need to know:
📅 Date and time: June 13th at 6 pm.
📍 Location: 19 Cedar Park Road, RD1 Hamilton
💰 Cost: $35 per person
🍷 Alcohol: BYO (bring your own… and maybe a little extra to share if you’re feeling generous)
☕ Provided: Tea, coffee, and dessert (because we’re classy like that)
⏰ RSVP: Please let us know 7 days in advance if you’re coming — we love surprises, but not when it comes to food quantities
Important note:
We do need minimum numbers for the event to go ahead, so your RSVP isn’t just polite — it’s essential for making this feast a reality!
A little note on this year’s subsidy:
In a new twist of financial strategy, the club will be covering the hosts’ and the chef's food, the sildemad for all, the delivery fee, and the dessert.
AGM update:
This year’s AGM will be held in a new, low-key format. Translation: it will be even quicker than previous years — yes, we know, we didn’t think it was possible either. Consider it the “espresso shot” of AGMs.
Come for the food, stay for the company, and we'll make the AGM brief. We haven't even audited the accounts this year - why should we? It’s the perfect recipe for a hyggelig evening.
We look forward to seeing you there — hungry, cheerful, and carrying a bottle of something delightful.
