Smut Slam Copenhagen: "FIERCE" | Alternative Pride
Copenhagen, GET READY! Råhuset's Alternative Pride Week is back and of course we are there to help spread the joy, on Tuesday, Aug 11, for a special seasonal slam on the theme of "FIERCE."
These "unprecedented times" call for more than just pride: we're summoning the forces of FIERCE, claws out, fangs bared, spirit on fucking FIRE. Share your stories about when you fought hard and dug deep for your desires. We center queer experience while giving everyone room to get rowdy. Prizes from Kink KBH and Überlube, stories from YOU!

Smut Slam Copenhagen is hosted by Cameryn Moore, an award-winning playwright/performer, storyteller, and event producer/facilitator. She is the founder of Smut Slam International, a global network of community dirty-storytelling events (read all about it at smutslam.com). As a former phone sex operator, Cameryn combines a comforting matter-of-factness with lightning-fast reflexes, "a Yankee accent that could strip paint," and a mind so open that you could run two Pride parades in it side by side.

Alternative Pride at Onkel Dannys Plads offers a week full of events in the spirit of diversity. The program is created in collaboration with local and Scandinavian cultural partners and artists, who create an inclusive and safe space without discrimination through art and culture. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. Come and join us in celebrating and supporting queer art and culture in the heart of Vesterbro! Alternative Pride is supported by Vesterbro Lokaludvalg.
