Smut Slam "Adult Education"

Smut Slam, the Internationally Infamous Adult Only Open Mic is back after a HOT summer and we're ready for a touch of ADULT EDUCATION!!!

Host DD Brassiere (Moms Moms Moms, Winnipeg Burlesque Festival) warms the stage, and welcomes those seated to take the stage, share a very personal story in a room full of supportive strangers for a chance to win a pleasurable prize from LOVE NEST! Stories based on REAL life, REAL lust, REAL Educational Moments.

Prefer to stay seated? No need to get on stage to be part of the action, observers always welcome. You can ask a question or share a confession in the F-BUCKET; a convenient receptacle for anonymous questions and confessions, which will be annonymously read out on stage. Any questions will be answered by the Smut Slam team, and in some cases we've ended up with Professionals in the audience that were eager to offer advice.

Smut Slam really is a spectaculer event. Whether you get on stage or stay seated, it will be a night you won't forget.

HOW MUCH: $15 cash at Love Nest or $18 at the door

We welcome people with all types and amounts of sexual experiences to our space. We DO NOT welcome stories involving racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism or any form of discrimination, fetishization or objectification and CONSENT IS KEY.

Smut Slam is queer-friendly, kink-friendly, fat-friendly, poly-friendly, trans-friendly, s^x-worker friendly… we’re just REALLY friendly, unless you're under 18, sorry this is an 18+ event.

Smut Slam will be in Vancouver Sept 5 and Victoria Sept 10.
RULES For Slammers: Each Story gets 5min, with a 1min grace period. The story must be real and have happened to YOU.

We want storytellers to be themselves and tell us their their story. No costumes, props, musical accompanyment and sorry no notes (unless required for you to take the stage).

Stories are often funny and/or epic to win, but we want to encourage people to consider sharing their sad, poignant, serious, simple and/or 'fail' experiences too.
