On August 8th, Smooth Sailing will be transforming the Marrickville Bowlo into the Marrickville Marina!
Yacht rock was the smooth, sophisticated, and suprisingly funky music of the late 1970s and early 1980s that was, let's face it, was completley daggy, but which you completley love anyway: think the likes of Michael McDonald & The Doobies, Toto, Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, George Benson, and the Captain & Tennille.
So bring your captain's hat, get a pina colada from the bar, and dancing the night away while Sydney's smoothest 12-piece band plays the highlights of the Yachtest 100. Make sure you ride like the wind to get tickets before they sell out!
