Smoky Whisky Night

We will be entering the world of peaty and smoky whiskies. It is the perfect way to celebrate Autumn as the temperatures drop and the nights pull in. We will take you through five whiskies that demonstrate many of the key factors that make smoky whiskies so unique in flavour and popular.

From the new wave of innovative distillers to the traditional smoky heartland of Islay, Scotland and several stops in between, we will explore this expressive set of whiskies. Learn a bit of the history and information about each brand or distillery that you are tasting from your experienced host.

The tasting will take place in the upstairs room at The Old White Bear, a fabulous pub in Hampstead village, NW3. This is just five minutes walk from Hampstead underground station (Northern Line / Edgware branch). Several local bus routes also stop nearby.

The tasting will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

Please feel free to arrive early - they have a great selection of craft beers, a delicious food menu and decent wine list.

No previous whisky knowledge needed, just enthusiasm and interest.

All guests are asked to Drink Responsibly.
