We have some exciting news! We are hosting our first annual BBQ and Bluegrass Festival: Smokin' Out Cancer & Pickin' for H.O.P.E. on August 29th at the Nance House Grounds! We invite you to come and enjoy food, music, and followship. We are saving the front row for our fellow cancer survivors and their families.
We want to thank our bands for committing to come and bring you an afternoon of entertainment to support such a great cause. We also want to thank our food truck vendors for taking the time come and bring you some delicious BBQ. All proceeds go to Grainger County Cancer Connect to help families navigating a cancer diagnosis. We want to thank our current sponsors for making this happen. However, to make this event even better we are looking for more sponsorships for this event. If you are interested, please contact me. We cannot thank you enough for your support. This year we are starting out small and wanted to put on a dessert contest. Entry fee is $20.00. Make your best HOMEMADE pie, cobbler, or banana pudding to be judged by a selected judging panel. Ribbons will be awards to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. To register for the contest please use the link below. We will collect your fee at the time of the event. You may register to bring multiple different HOMEMADE pies, cobblers, or banana puddings.
