Come join us at Syzygy SF for our second-ever Smoke Show and our first show on the West Coast! We'll be fresh off competing in the Harmony Sweepstakes Finals and excited to bring some smoke and sass to all of our friends in the Bay Area.

Who we are: Smoke Ring is a mixed voice, queer barbershop and contemporary a cappella quartet based in New York City. Since their start in January 2023, they have taken the barbershop world by storm. They won the 2024 Mid-Atlantic District championship on their first go, becoming the first-ever mixed voice quartet to earn the championship title! More recently, they placed 10th in the world at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s 2025 International quartet contest, and were named the Mid-Atlantic Champions of the 2025 Harmony Sweepstakes competition. They’ve wowed audiences at venues such as the US Open and NYC’s Terminal 5, where they opened for Sammy Rae and the Friends. No matter the venue or the size of the audience, Smoke Ring always aims to inspire singers and othered voices within the barbershop community.

Joining us is the incredibly talented singer/songwriter Misa James. Inspired by artists from Michael Jackson to Motown, Misa will be adding his own electrifying sound to the evening.
