Meet the Speakers:
Emma Lattey – Physiotherapist | ACL Return-to-Play PhD Student
Emma is a leading physiotherapist specializing in ACL rehabilitation and return-to-play testing. Emma has performed over 1800 ACL return to play tests over the past five years on athletes of all levels and has recently begun her PhD looking into RTP outcomes in New Zealand.
Jacinta Horan – Specialist Sports Physiotherapist
Jacinta is an internationally recognized sports physiotherapist with expertise in athletic hip and groin assessment and rehabilitation. She has worked with elite athletes across multiple disciplines and brings a wealth of experience in managing complex injuries.
Amanda Murphy – Strength & Conditioning Coach, Silver Ferns and ex-Black Ferns 7s Amanda is a high-performance Strength & Conditioning coach who has worked with some of New Zealand’s top athletes, including the Silver Ferns and Black Ferns 7s. She fosters strong communication among health and performance staff, ensuring a seamless pathway for athletes from return to play to peak performance.
Dr. Aaron Uthoff – Senior Sports Science Lecturer & Researcher (AUT SPRINZ)
Dr. Uthoff is a leading researcher and lecturer in sports science at AUT, with a focus on acceleration and deceleration mechanics in athletic performance. His work provides key insights into optimizing movement efficiency and injury prevention strategies.
