Smith Cove Project Community Information Meeting
About this Event
As we prepare to break ground on the Smith Cove Project at the intersection of Westport and Cherry Hill this summer, we want to ensure the community remains informed and engaged. At this session, South Baltimore Gateway Partnership and MBRI Implementation Partner GreenVest will share:
- What to expect during construction, and how it may impact you
- What benefits to expect from the Smith Cove Project and other MBRI projects
- Progress updates and new photos from two completed MBRI projects in Brooklyn and one under construction in Cherry Hill
Register to join us in person (or virtually) for a community information session on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 6:00 - 7:00pm at the Westport Boys & Girls Club, where we’ll share important updates on the Middle Branch Resiliency Initiative (MBRI).
Spanish language interpretation is available for in-person attendees. Please indicate your interest in interpretation services when registering for this event.
MBRI is the shoreline restoration arm of Reimagine Middle Branch, committed to reducing flood risk, improving water quality, restoring wetland habitat, re-connecting communities to waterfront greenspace in South Baltimore, and engaging communities in the process through efforts such as the Restoration Academy and EJJI Reel Rewards.
Thank you to the Westport Boys & Girls Club for sharing their venue with us.
For accessibility accommodations, please reach out to [email protected] at least one week before the event date. Reimagine Middle Branch will make reasonable accommodations as possible.
