This performance piece is both a social statement and performance art. Utilizing spoken word, live vocals, dance, aerial performances, and live experimental arts we aim to explore the concept of social responsibility. We often encounter stories of self-destruction in the home, society and the media, but rarely do we delve into the underlying factors that drive individuals to such extremes. Each character in our performance is inspired by real-world events, adding depth and authenticity to our narrative. By presenting these stories through diverse artistic expressions, we hope to foster a deeper understanding and empathy among our audience.
Our objective is to provoke thought and conversation about the ripple effects of actions and judgments. We believe that by engaging the audience in this multifaceted performance, we can open up new avenues for dialogue and reflection on social responsibility.
Through a series of interconnected stories, this performance explores the lives of seven characters, each grappling with their own demons and societal pressures. The narrative is guided by a narrator who speaks in slam poetry, providing a haunting and reflective commentary on the events unfolding on stage.
