Headlining the night is the brilliant DANE SIMPSON — one of Australia’s most exciting and in-demand comedians, bringing his hilarious stories, quick wit and unmistakable style to the Smiley stage.

Terms & Conditions of Ticket Purchase & Attendance

By purchasing a ticket to or attending this event at Smiley Brewing Co, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Tickets, Bookings & Seating

Tickets are valid only for the event and date stated on the ticket.

Seating is allocated by Smiley Brewing Co. Tables may be shared with other guests.

Tickets purchased within the same booking will be seated together wherever possible. If members of your group have purchased tickets separately, please email [email protected] with the names of the bookings you would like seated together.

We will do our best to accommodate seating requests but cannot guarantee specific tables or seating locations.

2. Event Times & Late Entry

Doors open at 6.00pm, with the comedy show commencing at 7.30pm. The venue is scheduled to close at approximately 9.30pm.

We strongly recommend arriving early to allow time for seating, food and drinks before the performance begins.

Late entry may be delayed until a suitable break in the performance to minimise disruption to the comedians and other guests.

3. Food & Drinks

Food at Smiley Brewing Co is provided by independent food trucks. Food offerings, availability, dietary requirements and special requests are managed by the individual food vendor.

No external food or beverages may be brought into the venue unless approved by Smiley Brewing Co in advance.

4. 18+ Event & Responsible Service of Alcohol

This is an 18+ event and valid identification may be required.

Smiley Brewing Co operates in accordance with Victorian liquor licensing requirements and Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations.

Management reserves the right to refuse service or entry, or require a patron to leave the venue, where reasonably necessary for safety, responsible service of alcohol, compliance with the law, or the enjoyment of other guests.

5. Audience Etiquette

Comedy works best when everyone gets to enjoy the show.

During performances, please:

• Keep mobile phones on silent.
• Keep conversations to a minimum.
• Avoid repeatedly talking over or interrupting performers.
• Treat performers, staff and other guests with respect.

A little interaction with the comedians is part of the fun. Constant heckling isn't.

Patrons who significantly disrupt the performance or the enjoyment of other guests may be asked to leave the venue. No refund will be provided where a patron is removed for inappropriate, unsafe or disruptive behaviour.

6. Show Line-Up

While all advertised comedians have been booked in good faith, performers may occasionally become unavailable due to illness, travel disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Smiley Brewing Co reserves the right to alter the supporting line-up where reasonably necessary and will endeavour to provide a suitable replacement.

A change to the supporting line-up does not automatically entitle the ticket holder to a refund. Where a significant change is made to the event, including the advertised headline performer, any refund rights will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.

7. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling

If the event is cancelled, rescheduled or materially changed, ticket holders will be contacted using the details supplied when purchasing their tickets and provided with the options available to them.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Refunds

Please choose carefully before purchasing.

Refunds will be provided up to 7 days before the event, past this any inability to attend, late arrival or no-show will not be refunded.

9. Ticket Transfers & Resale

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person unless otherwise stated for the event.

Tickets must not be resold for commercial purposes or at an inflated price. Smiley Brewing Co accepts no responsibility for tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties.

10. Photography & Recording

Photography or recording of comedians during their performances may be prohibited or restricted.

Please follow any instructions provided by Smiley Brewing Co staff, the MC or performers regarding photography and recording during the show.

Smiley Brewing Co may take photographs or video during the event for promotional purposes. Where practical, please speak with a staff member if you do not wish to be included in promotional photography or video.

11. Venue Conditions & Safety

All patrons must comply with reasonable directions from Smiley Brewing Co staff and any applicable venue or liquor licence conditions.

Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person behaving in a threatening, abusive, unsafe or significantly disruptive manner.

12. Privacy

Personal information collected as part of your booking will be handled in accordance with Smiley Brewing Co's Privacy Policy, available on our website.

13. Changes to These Terms

Smiley Brewing Co may update these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. Any changes will not retrospectively remove or limit rights that applied to a ticket at the time it was purchased.
