Smile Empty Soul is a Los Angeles-area alternative rock/post-grunge band known for raw, emotionally direct songwriting and a gritty hard rock sound. Breaking through in the early 2000s with their self-titled debut album, the band earned major radio attention with songs like “Bottom of a Bottle,” “Nowhere Kids,” and “Silhouettes,” becoming a staple of the post-grunge/active rock era. Led by founding vocalist/guitarist Sean Danielsen, Smile Empty Soul has continued releasing music and touring for over two decades, building a loyal fanbase around honest lyrics, heavy melodies, and a no-frills rock identity.
Revis is a post-grunge/alternative rock band from Carbondale, Illinois best known for their 2003 major-label debut Places for Breathing. Signed to Epic Records in the early 2000s, the band broke nationally with “Caught in the Rain,” which reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart and was featured on Daredevil: The Album. Their debut also hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart, helping cement Revis as one of the standout names of the early-2000s melodic hard rock wave. After years of cult-favorite status, the band has returned with new activity, reconnecting with longtime fans while introducing their sound to a new generation.
