SMB Free Book Swap Event NIBM Pune

Never pay for a book again. We meet and swap books every 3 weeks. All books are posted on our Whatsapp group beforehand. Mostly bestsellers.

How it works:

1. We meet every 3 weeks.

2. Books for all ages.

3. Everyone sends a photo of the books they are bringing and these are posted on our WhatsApp group.

4. So we know the books that will be there beforehand.

5. At the event, bring in the books you want to swap.

6. Exchange books amongst yourselves.

7. Bring a good read to take a good read.

8. Many library books are also available for swapping.

9. Take home bestsellers free of cost.

10. If you can't find a good read, just take your books back home.

Book swapping process:

1. Pre-Event: You can join our WhatsApp group https://chat.whatsapp.com/I6513GcROCrLvyx2xIVdJ5 to browse photos of the books others are planning to bring. It is a great way to see if anything catches your eye beforehand!

2. At the Event: When you arrive, you will place your books on the floor. Feel free to walk around and browse what everyone else has brought.

3. The Swap: If you find a book you like, simply ask the owner if they would like to swap with one of yours.

4. Triangle Swap: If you find a book you want but the owner does not want to swap for yours, we have a Triangle Swap option. You can give your book to the library, the library gives a book to the owner, and you receive the book you wanted.

5. No Pressure: If you do not find a swap, you are always welcome to take your books back home with you.

Answers to FAQs:

1. Selling of books is not allowed, only swapping is allowed.

2. It is compulsory to post a photo of all the books you are bringing for swapping on our WhatsApp group so that we have an attendance, everyone knows which books will be there and others are encouraged to come.

3. I will NOT be collecting all the books and distributing them, members will be exchanging amongst themselves.

4. There is no online exchange, you need to attend the event.

5. Remember to bring in good reads to take good reads as swapping is voluntary.

6. We are exchanging novels, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, coffee table books, manga, etc. No text books please.

7. If you have books your child has outgrown, you can exchange them with my library pile and take age appropriate books.

8. You can do a 3 way exchange: A gives to B, B gives to C and C gives to A.

9. After the exchange you won't get your books back as I am not tracking which books are with whom.

10. Bring in a minimum of 1 book, there is no maximum limit.

11. You can exchange 1 book for 2 or 3 books provided who you are exchanging with agrees.
