The Smashed Potato Kids — Vancouver's favourite sketch comedy group — are leaving the comfort of a camera and putting their bodies on the line. Live. At Main St. Brewery.
SPK LIVE is a variety comedy show featuring stand-up, live sketches, filmed shorts, and whatever other chaos we've cooked up by April 13th. It's our first show with Main St. Brewing, and to celebrate, they've made us our very own beer: SPK Crisp Lager — complete with our Smashed Potato on the label. Don't worry, there's no actual potato in there... or is there?!
Every ticket sold goes directly toward SPK Sketchfest, our May sketch comedy film festival. So you're not just coming to laugh — you're funding the future of weird Canadian comedy. Very noble of you to support local creatives!
This is also a genuinely great hang for filmmakers, comedians, and generally funny or film-adjacent people who want to meet other genuinely funny or film-adjacent people. Come for the sketches, stay for the networking, leave with a can of something crisp.
