Smartphone Digital Art Workshop

Come and learn how to make digital art on your smartphone, using the programme, ‘Infinite Painter’.

The workshop will begin with a demonstration from Katie, creating a painting real-time on her phone, cast to a TV. Katie will demonstrate how Infinite Painter works:

• Using the tools: oil, acrylic, pen, pencil, spray and many more
• How to import photos to use for reference or with texture
• Choosing colours, either by importing a photo or selecting in real-life
• How to build up a painting, using different mediums, using your finger and also a stylus
• How to export your images

In the second part, participants will walk in the nearby wood and to the river and select a view to paint. Katie will walk between participants to help them as their artwork progresses.

In the case of rain, participants can create a painting using an image on their camera roll on their phone, an album or a Google image. 

We will then reconvene in the barn and review our artwork as a group.
