SmartPhone Creative Photography Workshops for Term 1 2023

As the saying goes, ‘The best camera is the one that is with you’.

This course is designed for people who have an interest in smartphone photography. From complete beginners, to those with more experience, learn how to take photos that exceed your expectations!

Learn to use standard photography rules to help take stunning photos and capture the beauty of everyday life and your important moments with the camera that’s always with you.

Each session will be two hours in length and will be held once a week for a total of nine(9) weeks.

Day: Wednesdays

Time: 5pm to 7pm

Venue: Fitzroy Hall, 22 Church Street, Burwood

Beginners SmartPhone Photography course

Topics:

• Basic operation skills
• Defining a good subject
• Basic editing skills
• Composition methods
• Playing with light

Over five(5) consecutive weeks

Dates: 1 February to 1 March 2023

Cost: $26.00

Advanced SmartPhone Photography course

Topics:

• Using various Apps and accessories to improve your phone photography.
• Different editing methods and options.
• Advanced photo taking methods.

Over four (4) consecutive weeks

Dates: 8 March to 29 March 2023

Cost: $22.00

What to Bring?

• A fully charged smartphone - any model.
• A pen and note book.
• Comfortable shoes as some classes will involve practical's exercises for students taking photos with their SmartPhone.
• Note taking, homework and practical exercises will be integrated into both courses.

This smartphone photography workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested in capturing precious moments in their everyday lives.

Suitable for mums and dads, teenagers, business owners, travel and food bloggers, retirees, or if you just want to learn a rewarding new skill or hobby for life, and to meet new friends with the same interests.

4 sessions & 5 sessions Passes: Purchasing a ticket means you purchase a pass this means you are then booked in for the duration of either the 4 weeks or and 5 weeks programs.
