Smart Works Birmingham: In Conversation, Lunch and Fashion Sale at Chapter

Join us in the heart of Edgbaston Village for an afternoon of shopping high street and designer brands at discounted prices, enjoy a 2-course lunch and hear from guest speaker Alison Akinrinlola on Wednesday 3 June to support women into work in the Midlands.

Alison Akinrinlola is a former England netball player, coach, and sports entrepreneur from the West Midlands. Alison is also Founder of the Birmingham Panthers and Founder of Netball Aid. Interviewing Alison will be Scarlett Allen-Horton, a multi- award-winning recruitment entrepreneur, BBC Apprentice finalist, founder of Harper Fox Search Partners and Ambassador for Smart Works Birmingham.

This event will raise funds for Smart Works Birmingham, a UK charity which supports unemployed women to get the clothing, coaching and confidence they need to get the job and transform their lives. We are proud that 69% of women who walk through our doors secure a job within 1 month of their visit: this truly is Fashion as a Force for Good.

Roasted Fillet of Salmon

spicy tomato orzo | sweet & sour tomatoes | basil

Sweet Potato & Lentil Dahl (V)

paneer | coconut yoghurt | baby spinach

(without the paneer the dish is vegan)

English Strawberries (V) Chantilly | crisp meringue | strawberry sauce

Tickets include a 2-course lunch of a main and dessert, a welcome glass of Prosecco, a Q&A with Alison Akinrinlola hosted by Scarlett Allen-Horton and a chance to shop our famous Fashion Sale with designer and high street brands at 70% off RRP. Guests can book a single ticket for £55 or a table of 10 x spaces for you and your colleagues for £500.

Additional drinks can be purchased separately from the venue.
