Join us at Sol Fitness for Smart Strength | Shoulders + Spine Workshop, a free, educational session focused on understanding pain, posture, and performance—so you can move and train with more awareness and confidence.
Led by Dr. Tameka Johnson, PT, DPT of MoveSmart Physical Therapy, this workshop bridges physical therapy and training in a practical, approachable way.
What we’ll cover:
•How to interpret shoulder and spine pain signals
•When to push through discomfort—and when to pull back
•Common issues connected to elbows, wrists, neck, and back
•How posture and desk work impact movement and training
•How to prepare your body for workouts and make the most of your training time
This workshop is for you if you:
•Experience shoulder, neck, or back discomfort
•Sit at a desk or notice posture-related tension
•Train regularly and want to move smarter, not harder
•Want more confidence in how you move and train
Dr. Johnson brings extensive experience in injury prevention, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, including time as a former physical therapist for the Tennessee Trojans. She now treats clients at MoveSmart Physical Therapy and trains alongside the Sol community—making this a meaningful collaboration between two women-owned, education-focused businesses in Lexington.
This workshop is free and open to the public. Registration is required.
