So many of our visions of the holidays are straight out of the movies. Everyone is joyful and laughing around the dinner table. How we wish it would be like that in our own homes. Instead, seasonal fatigue, stress and anxiety may test our emotions and drain the holidays of festivity. Family gatherings can be full of friction and sparks from unresolved issues. And the loss of a family member, past or recent, makes these times even harder to celebrate. Let’s talk about ways to prepare ourselves to cope with the emotions and stressors of the holiday season.
