What is SMART Recovery? ?SMART Recovery (Self-Management And Recovery Training) is a global community of mutual-support groups offering a science-based program to help individuals overcome various types of addictive behaviors and lead balanced, fulfilling lives. Using cognitive-behavioral techniques, SMART Recovery empowers participants to develop self-reliance and transform their unhelpful habits.
SMART Recovery can help with:
- Substance abuse (alcohol, drugs)
- Gambling
- Eating disorders
- Self-harm
- Internet and technology addiction
- Sexual addiction
