Bios!
Small Town Therapy is a collaboration between multi-instrumentalists Adam Roszkiewicz and Leif Karlstrom. The duo plays instrumental string music that emphasizes compelling, thoughtful compositions and virtuosic improvisation. Adam and Leif are founding members of the bluegrass band Front Country, the Grammy nominated Modern Mandolin Quartet, the Ger Mandolin Orchestra, and the Volcano Listening Project.
Palmer T. Lee is a singer-songwriter and poet from Olympia, Washington. He is one half of the alt-folk band The Lowest Pair, with whom he has toured internationally for over ten year. He has played some of the most renowned festivals and stages across the country and writes songs that are disarming, joyful, and profound.
Some nice quotes!
“…these guys have the creativity, open-mindedness, and chops to show us how much is actually possible.” ~ Mike Marshall
“an impossibly tight, intertwined duet… Small Town Therapy are effortlessly in control. Their years spent in bands and on the road together are perhaps to blame — and thank — for this balance. In such a loose format, merely two voices bouncing off of and responding to one another, one might expect that freneticism to inevitably run off the rails, but it never does.” ~ Justin Hiltner, The Bluegrass Situation
“Palmer’s voice, always intense, wavers in brutal honesty and vulnerability. It tugs on the heart strings. There’s a catharsis in the listening.” -Ann Treacy, Mostly MN Music
