🐑 Join us on August 22 at Carver Farm for a full day of hands-on learning and practical guidance for small ruminant producers. This event is free and open to the public.
🐐 This program offers an opportunity to learn about using drones, apps and GPS technology for estimating forage biomass and grazing management. The fencing class will cover different fence types, materials and building techniques suitable for cattle, sheep and goat fences. Participants will also learn about the Veterinary Client-Patient Relationship for small ruminants. Additionally, there will be a lecture on the use of pasture sticks to manage pastures, estimate forage yield and determine when to move animals to the next paddock.
