Small Business Project Fundamentals: How to Get More Shots on Goal
About this Event
Small businesses run projects every day: customer engagements, launches, events, hiring initiatives, contracts, process changes, and growth efforts. The challenge is that too much project knowledge often lives in one person's head.
What this workshop is designed to do
This three-hour working session helps small-business owners and operators turn a business commitment into a clearer, more executable project. We will work through the essentials of defining the business problem, clarifying scope and ownership, organizing milestones and handoffs, improving communication, handling changes, and identifying what 'done' actually means.
More Shots on Goal
The workshop includes 45 minutes of facilitated strategic networking. This is not random mingling. Attendees will practice explaining the problem in their business, what they do, who they need to meet, and what complementary capability could move an opportunity forward.
What we will work through
Business problem and success measures; deliverables and exclusions; project ownership and decision rights; milestones and handoffs; risk and change awareness; client/team communication; and a practical next-step plan.
Who should attend
Small-business owners, founders, entrepreneurs, military-spouse entrepreneurs, nonprofit/community operators, general/operations managers, and emerging project leads who want practical project-management structure without unnecessary jargon.
What you should leave with
A clearer project/problem statement, a lightweight project/action framework you can apply to current work, and more purposeful conversations with complementary businesses.
