Small Business Capital Connection

As part of Capital Region Small Business Week 2026, powered by SMUD, Small Business Capital Connections brings together small businesses, public agencies, lenders, and technical assistance providers for a morning focused on helping entrepreneurs prepare for their next stage of growth.

Through breakout sessions led by California Capital FDC programs, attendees will explore key topics including government contracting, access to capital, and strategic business management. Participants will gain practical insights into how public sector purchasing works, what lenders look for when evaluating financing, and how strong operations and financial planning can support long-term business success.

Throughout the event, attendees will also have opportunities to connect with agencies, lenders, and resource partners and learn about programs available to support their business.
