Small Bites & Sound Bites™ is back with a cause, and you don't have to be local to support!
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Awareness Month
Small Bites & Sound Bites™: Spirit of Survival is a benefit to support those fighting Childhood Cancer and/or Sickle Cell Disease.
Our Featured Frequency, Nadia McGahee, will share her story in her pursuit of a new kidney. Nadia requires a new kidney due to complications from a medulloblastoma diagnosis (brain cancer) at age 7.
We will also highlight the story of Amari Whitaker as she shares her lifelong journey with sickle cell anemia disease.
We hope that Nadia and Amari’s stories will shed light on the realities of these illnesses and the ripple effects it has on our communities.
To help tell their stories, we are proud to welcome renowned Chef Ed Porter as the featured chef and Ian Bennett of The Study as our featured sommelier.
Proceeds will be donated to our Featured Frequencies and nonprofits that focus on supporting the families of child cancer and sickle cell patients.
