COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 2-day intensive and highly practical course is designed for primary care veterinarians who want to strengthen their foundational and advanced skills in small animal oral surgery, with a particular focus on extractions and related complications. Through a combination of concise, synchronous, and asynchronous online lectures available on-demand, as well as hands-on laboratory instruction using cadaver specimens, this course emphasizes both the decision-making and technical skills required to confidently approach canine and feline oral surgical cases in general practice or specialty settings.
Led by a team of board-certified specialists, residents, and specialized experienced technicians, attendees will rotate through focused stations in small groups, receiving individualized instruction on advanced extractions, nerve blocks, radiographic interpretation, and oronasal fistula (ONF) repair.

This course is ideal for veterinarians with basic to intermediate experience in dentistry who wish to expand their clinical competence under the guidance of veterinary dental experts. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to perform local blocks, open and multi-rooted tooth extractions, address most common complications, and interpret dental radiographs with improved accuracy.
