Oreen from Redeemed Gifts & Creations will present an introduction to textile upcycling before demonstrating slow stitch methods to complete a small project.
Bring your friends and slow stitch together.
Learn how to complete a small, unique slow-stitch project.
Materials supplied, or bring your own textiles/clothing to repurpose.
In recent years fast fashion and textile waste have become a global problem. People are buying more new garments, and wearing them fewer times before disposing of them, often to landfill. One way we can combat that is by turning our unwearable garments into other things, and prolonging their useful life.
