About this Event

Slow down, read closely, think and discuss - that's what we are asking you to do in this club.

Come and relax with Syllvia Townsend Warner's Lolly Willowes, about a middle aged woman who sells her soul to Satan in order to have a quiet life. Based on Margaret Murray's work on the witch cult, this amusing and profound 1926 novel has not been out of print since the revival of interest in women's writing and witchcraft since the 1970s.

Turn off your smart phones, step away from the hectic pace of life, and discuss words.

Includes a tea or coffee.
