Bursting with rock-n-roll goodness, Seattle’s Slow Moving Bird delivers anthems in the spirit of Springsteen, with the excitement of Wilco and the power of Pearl Jam. This is music infused with emotion, intelligence and humor. On May 6th, the band will bring their stirring grooves to the Sea Monster Lounge and debut—for the first-time ever—a fresh set of killer tunes that explore themes of justice, friendship and major league baseball.
As they prepare to hit the studio this summer to record the follow-up to 2020’s epic Once, In a Daydream, SMB will take the SML stage powered by incredible new drummer Brian C., and feature Slow Moving Bird stalwarts Neel B. on piano, Paul B. on sax and synths, Josh C. on lead guitars and Andrew Z. on the slide. And with ringleader and singer/songwriter GF Sheffer at the helm, the show will certainly be Seattle’s can’t-miss-performance of the night.
