About this Event

Interwoven: Slow Flow Yoga and Sound Bath

Interwoven: Slow Flow Yoga and Sound Bath at Shine Yoga Studio is designed to help Special Operations Spouses learn to manage stress and energy with guided breathwork. Slow and steady poses allow for smooth transitions and intentional movement. Instruction for using the breath to breathe into the longer held poses creates calmness in the body and mind. Practicing breathwork reinforces that the breath is an ever-present tool that can help regulate the nervous system; the more we practice relying on our breath, the more accustomed we become to rely on it in times of stress.

As the class ends with a period of rest, participants will enjoy a restorative soundbath. The gentle, calming sounds of the bowls will encourage participants to relax and feel at ease. Participants will feel refreshed at the end of class.

Please bring a yoga mat.
This will be a warm class.
All abilities welcome; no experience necessary.

This is a first come first serve event with a maximum capacity of 12 attendees.

Please invite a friend within the Special Operations Community who is new to The Station to join the fun and learn mindful practices to improve self care.

When registering for an event, all required fields on the order form must be completed in entirety. Incomplete order forms will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding and helping us ensure event security and the highest quality experience possible.
