James Beard Award Winning Author Danny Childs: Adventure Amaro @ Wrong Way River Lodge & Cabins

Starting at Wrong Way River Lodge, Danny Childs will lead a foraging trek along the French Broad River Greenway to create “backyard amari” from the wild wonders of West Asheville. Guests will forage their ingredients and return to Wrong Way’s grounds and meadow to craft their own amaro by the campfire and enjoy snacks by Newstock Pantry.
A signed copy of Slow Drinks is included with the ticket price. An open-to-the-public party will follow the amaro adventure, with music, live fire, a food offerings, and drinks available for purchase in the Wrong Way Canteen. For the Amaro Adventure: Limited spots, 21+
