"Soup to Nuts Methods" to bring your mind to stillness and improve your mental health!
- A number of different meditation techniques to untap your dormant potential will be taught including mudras (hand positioning) and bandhas (internal energy locks).
- Sound resonation through the chakras using the Bija mantras and the Shruti Box.
- Pranayamas (incadence breathwork) along with some fun and easy asanas will also be presented.

Doug Hayward first came meditation through Yoga in 1996! After 20 minutes into the practice he felt introduced to a whole new world of bringing the mind to stillness, and thus began his journey of exploring the ancient science of Yoga. Over the years, Doug has practiced and learned new ways of maintaining a state of present awareness that help overshadow those feelings of sadness from past events and also to deal with the anxiety of what the future may hold. The practices he will be sharing have come from years of reading the ancient texts of Yoga, practicing the methods taught in those readings and being in the presence of some great teachers who have offered guidance and support.
