About the Film:
Mr. and Mrs. Fox live an idyllic home life but after twelve years of quiet domesticity, the bucolic existence proves too much for Mr. Fox’s wild animal instincts. Director Wes Anderson's adaptation of a beloved children's novel by Roald Dahl.

- Broadfield Park Slopes can be found just behind Rochdale Town Hall.
- Refreshments including snacks and soft drinks will be available before the film begins. These will be served by the Rochdale Town Hall.
- Please note the Town Hall carpark will be closed for the event as it is being used for the cinema screen. Other town centre parking is available close by including carparks on Nelson Street / Church Lane. Public transport links are also close including Rochdale Interchange and Town Centre Tram Stop.
Slopes Summer Cinema is a series of free events for everyone to come along to and enjoy an afternoon or evening of film on the Broadfield Park Slopes! On the 30 July Fantastic Mr Fox will be shown in the afternoon, with SUFFRAGETTE being shown in the evening. Then on the 27 August we will be showing The Wild Robot and Peterloo. Please note separate tickets are needed for each film.
About the Project:
The Broadfield Park Slopes are a newly restored park space located behind Rochdale Town Hall. There are new pathways, benches, interpretation and wildflower lawns to be used and explored.
This event is delivered by Rochdale Development Agency as part of the Broadfield Park Slopes Project, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
