We invite you to join us in memory of Stevie Mahanes. Stevie’s stories told by loved ones pull us back to a time that was fleeting and transformative. His life sparked conversation, stirred emotion, and left a permanent impression on everyone he touched.
Ten years ago, the release of SLiP$ AwaY gave us a definitive lens into his life—the friend we all seemed to have in common, whose story began for many of us back in the '80s. Since that release in June of 2015, that story hasn't faded; it has deepened, becoming a quiet part of our collective history.
This SLiP$ AwaY ~ CLOSURE screening is a final, communal farewell—a chance to revisit that vital piece of our past together on the big screen.
