Slim Pickings is a Grand Valley band playing a variety of bluegrass, folk and Americana. Slim is Dave Karisny (guitar), Tony Weadock (banjo), Gary Lobdell (mandolin) and Dave Fetherstone (bass) – all drawn together 3 years ago by a common love of acoustic music. Slim’s sets reflect their love for traditional bluegrass, early folk rock, and a mix of vocal harmonies. Slim Pickings – just four old guys taking care of business.
