Back for its second year, Slice of Summer is the perfect way to make the most of those golden days between Christmas and New Year. Gather your family and friends, pack a picnic rug, and settle in on the lawns for an unforgettable afternoon and evening surrounded by nature, live music, and summer magic.Ease into the evening with the smooth vocals and impressive guitar skills of James Van Der Maas. James brings a world of experience and charm to the stage. His quick wit, laid-back energy, and wide-ranging repertoire make him a crowd favourite, sparking singalongs, and keeping the dancefloor alive. Then, get ready to turn up the tempo with Madowzy, a six-piece Auckland supergroup hailed as Aotearoa’s funk fathers. Blending hard-hitting grooves, searing leads, and explosive energy, their infectious sound is impossible to resist, whether you’re tapping your foot or stomping to the beat, they’ll have you dancing the night away.
