About this Event

Celebrate America 250 and Civic Season with a Slice of History at Brew to the People, a lively, after-hours experience inspired by the colonial coffeehouses where ideas, gossip and revolution were brewed. The theme for this program is Institutional and Social Transformation.

Explore fascinating objects from the past in the feature exhibition: Founding Fortunes: The Estate Sale of Martha Washington and spark great conversations using questions about how society and institutions have shaped and changed communities across the United States before heading to the Dower House for coffeehouse-style non-alcoholic drinks, a slice of pizza (thanks to Pizza to the Polls and Made by Us) and other treats. Come get energized by history, community and a spirited night out .
