On Packing Day we gather and sort all the community donations and pack those beautiful boxes to send to our local heroes. Our packing room is in the back of the building on the left at 101 Mission Drive in Slidell. All are welcome that want to join in and help. After packing some of our volunteers will be going to Vera's Seafood Restaurant (2020 Gause Blvd West, Slidell) for lunch. Lunch is open to any packing volunteer that would like to join in. All orders and costs are at the individual's expense. Vera's Restaurant supports SLFL with donations for gift cards and hole sponsorships for our biggest fundraiser, The Bushwacker Golf Tournament. MEN's DEODORANT as our May item of the month. Please buy a few to donate at our next packing on May 15th. They can also be placed in one of our donation boxes located at businesses around town, or mailed to our P.O. box from Walmart or our Amazon Wish list. https://bit.ly/SLFLWishList.
