-Lantern lit, guided, Murder and Mayhem, 1.5 hour (90 minutes) tour of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery
-Entrance to Hudson Valley’s: The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze
We will be departing from the Old Sears Parking Lot, Wyoming Valley Mall, in Wilkes-Barre. Please Park in the MARTZ BUS AREA BY THE WVGT SIGN. The bus departs promptly at 11:45 AM, so please arrive a minimum of 20 minutes early for check-in. We will be dropping off at a centrally located Street in Tarrytown, NY. Seating on the bus is a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS.
While in Tarrytown you will have time to shop and find something to eat on your own before rejoining the tour promptly @ 6:15 PM (driver assigned stop).
We will then take the short ride to the historic 174-year-old Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, where we will take a guided, (approximate) 1-hour, Murder and Mayhem Lantern Tour at 6:45 PM**.
Experience the darker side of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery’s history…the stories on this lantern tour are so grim, you just might have nightmares!
Please be aware the route includes hills, grassy, unpaved and gravel roads. There is no place to sit down during the tour. The walk is approximately 1-1.5 miles.
After this informative and exciting tour, we will rejoin the bus and make way to the Hudson Valley’s Great Pumpkin Blaze, which is an 18th-century landscape at the Van Cortlandt Manor, filled with over 10,000 designed and hand-carved pumpkins. There is a gift shop with snacks and cider, pumpkins, music, and lights to enjoy at this Pumpkin Show.
We will depart from the Pumpkin Blaze by 11:00 PM**, returning to Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Approximate return time is 1:00 AM**. This time, however is subject to change based on traffic and other factors.
**TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND ARE ONLY APPROXIMATIONS. Times may change due to traffic, delays or other unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this as you purchase your tickets.
Tickets are $165.00 per person. A snack, refreshment and spooky/horror movie(s) will be shown on the bus. If there is an issue with the movie player or the bus equipment, the movie will not be shown.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the event location. Space for this event is limited to 52 tickets! Tickets must be purchased through the event ticket link ONLY. Every passenger on the bus MUST have a purchased seat.
Minimum age for this event is 16 with a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian must always remain with guests under the age of 18 during the duration of the trip.
Alcohol is NOT ALLOWED on the bus. A SMALL cooler that can fit below a seat or up in the overhead storage is allowed.
**This is an outdoor walking tour of a Cemetery. Please ensure that proper foot and clothing attire are worn- You are encouraged, for your safety, to NOT wear the following shoes: Sandals, High Heels, Open Toed Shoes or Flip-Flop type sandals.**
Tours WILL occur in the rain at both the cemetery and pumpkin blaze.

The cemetery is very hilly. The bus is not parked on the same side of the cemetery for the evening tour. Guests need to get off the bus and walk across a street for an evening tour of the cemetery.
Due to the cemetery grounds and crossing the busy street for bus parking, those with mobility and health concerns are urged to reconsider this event. Once the tour begins, there is nowhere to sit along the 60-minute route.
