TEAR DUNGEONThis wild, gimp-mask clad noise‑punk outfit specializes in blown‑out riffs, doomy distortion, and sonic chaos that rattles your fillings. Their sound lands somewhere between Rollins-era Black Flag and a power tool having an existential crisis, and their show feels like a basement exorcism with better lighting. Get ready for some true Texan hospitality.
BIG EVIL RAT
Sometimes, a band name is just perfect. Case in point: Imagine a BIG EVIL RAT. Are you picturing something menacing, scraggly, and a bit dirty? Then you’ve got a great idea of what to expect from this sleazy, six-headed garage rock monster. BIG EVIL RAT are Sled regulars for a reason; find out why!
Invisible Hand
Politically charged and quick to the punch, Invisible Hand is an East Coast hardcore band that rejects breakdowns in favour of pure intensity. With their self-titled debut released last June and an EP on the way, this hard-hitting trio is ready to bring the noise to Sled Island.
Brass Lip
The scrappy, no-bullshit power chord anthems of Brass Lip wouldn’t sound out of place in a CBGB’s documentary, or scoring a fist fight in an ‘80s movie. Their two 2024 releases clock in under 20 minutes combined, and that’s all they need to keep the snotty punk dream alive.
