Ringing out from the storied Pacific Northwest, Justin R. Cruz Gallego fuses clanging industrial dirges with post‑punk abrasion and electronic collapse. The result? A singular vision of jagged, noise-rock beauty. From the acclaimed album Ajo Sunshine to the boundary‑pushing Sub Pop debut Grim Iconic…(Sadistic Mantra), J.R.C.G.’s sonic experimentation feels equal-parts volatile and visionary.
SENTRIES
Formed by sole recording artist Kim Elliot, Lethbridge noise rock outfit SENTRIES blends post-punk and krautrock influences into abrasive bursts of danceable noise. Since their live debut at Sled Island 2024, the group has continued to gain momentum through their prolific work and engaging performances, and are currently promoting their latest release, Gem of the West.
Sunglaciers
An “arty post‑everything” group blurring polished melodicism with opaque experimentation, this four-piece crafts kaleidoscopic proto-pop threaded with psych-tinged optimism. After touring Canada, the US and the UK and sharing the stage with acts like Wombo, Preoccupations, Sweeping Promises and Omni, Sunglaciers return with their new album Spiritual Content, diving deeper into the chiaroscuro edges of post-punk and art rock.
Uncanny Valley
A five-piece force in post-punk, no-wave and dance-punk, Uncanny Valley channels gothic ’80s atmospherics through cold-wave synths, melodic basslines, and shadow-drenched hooks. With their debut LP Fevering Stare shifting from brooding minimalism to irresistible goth-pop melodies, they craft a sound both timeless and mystifying.
