Join us for a Passing Clinic designed to help skijor, bikejor, and mushing teams build confidence and trail awareness in a supportive, real-world setting!

(Open to teams with 4 dogs or fewer, including skijor and bikejor)
We’ll be using a ½-mile practice loop where teams can make multiple laps and get hands-on experience overtaking other teams and practicing head-on passes. Experienced mushers will be standing by to coach, assist with passes, and share practical tips throughout the session. This is great training if you’re planning to participate in mushing or multisport dog events this season.
There is river access available for recreation before or after passing practice, and hotdogs will be for sale as a fundraiser to support The Lead Dog Project!
👉 Follow-Up Partner Event:
Continue the learning at our Passing 101 Panel on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Ken Kunkle Community Center. A representative musher, skijorer, and bikejorer will discuss passing strategies, communication, and training—and demonstrate techniques without dogs for clarity and safety.
