(S)LEAP

(S)LEAP is a dance theatre production that explores the tension between staying and going. Bathed in a surreal glow, it depicts the inner pull of attraction and repulsion, and the growth that lies within the unknown.

Across five phases, the ensemble traverses states of pulling apart and coming together, between dissolution and becoming – into the unfamiliar and the feeling of home. Bodies become one breathing organism. A stage language emerges that is at once dreamlike and unsettling, following a logic that refuses to be categorised.

Through self-generated soundscapes, surreal costumes and visuals that bend reality, (s)leap researches what stirs beneath our surface when we want to stay and leave at the same time. And what happens when we jump anyway.

(S)leap ist ein Tanztheaterstück, das die Spannung zwischen Bleiben und Gehen erforscht. In surreales Licht gehüllt, zeigt es den inneren Sog von Anziehung und Abstoßung – und das Potenial, das im Unbekannten schlummert.

In fünf Phasen durchquert das Ensemble Momente des Auseinanderfallens und Zusammenwachsens, zwischen Auflösung und Werden – ins Fremde und ins Vertraute. Körper werden zu einem einzigen atmenden Organismus. Es entsteht eine Bühnensprache, die gleichzeitig traumhaft und verstörend ist und sich jeder Einordnung entzieht.

Mit selbst erzeugten Klanglandschaften, surrealen Kostümen und Bildern, die die Wirklichkeit entrücken, erforscht (S)LEAP was in sich in uns bewegt, wenn wir gleichzeitig bleiben und gehen wollen. Und was passiert, wenn wir trotzdem springen.
