Join us on Saturday 20 August for an afternoon of family-friendly events marking Slavery Remembrance Day.

Movema Dance: 1, 2 & 3pm
Celebrating diversity through dance, Movema brings communities together to learn about each other. Join in their workshops throughout the afternoon.
Story Glory : 1-2pm
Join Natalie Denny, local writer, activist and director of Skywriters for a creative writing session for families.
Pari Richards: 3 - 4pm
Actor, Writer and Board Director for BlackFest will lead a drama workshop exploring improvisation, song, hip hop/rap music and spoken word poetry for participants to be a part of remembrance of ancestral power and awakening.
