Rising Alternative band SLAUX is thrilled to announce the release of their second single "Take 9", available November 15th on all major streaming services. In celebration of the release, SLAUX will be playing a headline single launch show at iconic Thornbury venue Shotkickers on the 17th of November, alongside Dante Z.C and Complainer.Following the success of their debut, SLAUX returns with a track that delves deep into the intricacies of relationships and the dance we have with our own thoughts when navigating mistakes.
"Take 9" is a powerful exploration of the choices we make when either we or our partners falter. The song's title draws inspiration from the world of film and television, where multiple takes are often necessary to get the perfect shot. SLAUX uses this metaphor to ask a poignant question: How many chances should we give, and how many do we expect in return?
The track is self-produced and showcases the exceptional talents of Thomas Hagen and Gabriel Gubko, who also handled the mixing and mastering. Their collaboration has resulted in a polished yet raw sound that captures the essence of SLAUX’s identity.
