Let’s Put Trash where it belongs!!!! Come participate in our #SLAPPERS Earth Day Waterfront Park Clean Up & Social! SLAP adopted Lake Minneola many years ago, and it's crazy what can be found along the shoreline. We will be collecting trash from our shores and waters - contest for the craziest thing pulled out of the lake! Bring YOUR canoe, Stand-up Paddle Board, kayak, john boat, or dingy. If you want to stay on land, bring your boots or your bike (and helmet) and you can stay along the trail and pick up trash.
SLAP will provide garbage bags, gloves, and some garbage picker-uppers. Other handy items you can bring: buckets, your personal garbage grabbers, favorite yard work gloves and water shoes. We will try and clean-up as much of the shoreline as possible. Please come out and join us in the efforts of cleaning up Lake Minneola!
Treats will be served at the pavilion after clean up!
