SLAM NUBA featuring JohnnyOsi

IT'S NATIONAL POETRY MONTH! SLAM NUBA (We Cut Heads!) is celebrating with our monthly poetry show featuring the phenomenal poet JohnnyOsi!

Slam Nuba hosts a poetry open-mic and slam every final Friday at Redline Art Gallery in Denver. The monthly show is hosted by Aerik Francis and DJ Alisha B . Doors and signups open 7:30PM. Show starts around 8:00PM. General admission is $10, $5 for students.

About this month's feature:
JohnnyOsi is a spoken word artist whose work engages topics such as addiction/recovery, mental health, domestic violence, social justice, food, and love. JohnnyOsi is a National Poetry Slam Finalist, an Individual World Poetry Slam Finalist, a Slaughterhouse Slam Champion, and a Utah Arts Festival Individual Slam Champion, and his work has been featured on Button Poetry, Write About Now, and All Def Poetry. But more importantly, JohnnyOsi is a fuzzy ball of lint, tickling the belly button of a collapsing galactic lotus, that smells like death.
