MANCHESTER, NH – On Thursday, January 2nd, 2025, Slam Free Or Die - Poetry Open Mic & Slam continues its popular open mic poetry series at Stark Brewing Company. This week, there will be an open mic followed by the inaugural Passing of the Crown Feature Set!! There is a $3-$5 sliding scale cover and this is an all-ages show. About the Event:
To kick off the year, Slam Free is inaugurating a new type of feature titled the Passing of the Crown!! The 2024 slam competition team and the 2025 slam competition team will come together and perform a collective set of spotlight features for their community: each poet will get two poems of their choice. This will act as the formal send-off for the 2024 Slam Free Or Die competition team and the official welcome to the 2025 Slam Free Or Die competition team!!
About Slam Free Or Die - Poetry Open Mic & Slam:
Slam Free Or Die @ Stark Brewing Company is a series of open mic nights for poets and spoken-word artists every Thursday night in Manchester, NH. There is an open mic every night and poetry slams are also held several times a month. Doors open and sign-ups begin at 7pm with open mic beginning at 8pm. Featured poets and slams follows the open mic. Come and enjoy the delicious food and beverages at Stark Brewing Company! There is a $3-$5 sliding scale cover charge. Commercial Street in Manchester, NH. There is plenty of free parking at the rear of the building (facing the river) and you can feel free to use the entrance on that side.
