SLAM CHARLOTTE IS BACK AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Jan 19th Slam Charlotte Poetry Slam will be held at the historic Brooklyn Grace (219 S Brevard St, Charlotte, NC 28202) at 8pm...doors open at 7pm.

Competing poets must sign up by 7:45pm. Registration is $5.

There will be a cash prize for winners. Standard poetry slam 3 rules apply.

We will have an open mic before the slam.

Food will be available and drinks from a limited bar (beer, wine, soft drinks and water)

*** Please note, the venue is not responsible for parking. There are sufficient parking lots surrounding the venue however, it is paid parking. Should you choose to park in any parking lot, you must pay the appropriate pay station or utilize the suggested mobile app on the signs that are in the parking lots. The venue will not be responsible for any tickets, tows or boots says a result of noncompliance.

We are, however, only half a block from a train stop, 1 block from the bus station or utilizing Uber or Lyft is always a great option.***
