Make your happy place!
Whether it be your home or somewhere outdoors, we will be utilizing the slab, slip and scoring techniques to make your idealized world. (with limited amount of clay provided)
Clay dries naturally with the air, no need for a kiln!
Clay will return to its natural state if moistened.
Works will be taken home at the end of the session. Painting will not be provided.
All Ages Welcome! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Location: The Garcia Center for the Arts
Instructor will demonstrate how to make a mini shelf that shows a scenery of a domestic space or an outdoor space. Using handbuilding techniques such as slabs and coils, the instructor will use slabs to construct the shelf and coils to make mini furniture or flora. This shelf will be made to hang on the wall.
